Senior Manager of Digital Media

Provided strategic oversight of all new media and web initiatives across the organization with a focus on leading collaborative processes with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Accomplishments:

  • Built, led, and coached a digital team, plus suppliers and freelancers to support the achievement of organizational goals including: web design, usability and development, social media and content strategy, web analytics, social media monitoring, video production, podcast and radio production, photography, email marketing, web content management, and video and online advertising.
  • Strategies resulted in social media channels being consistently among top referrers to corporate website.
  • E-commerce activities led to consistent annual increases in both number of tickets sold online and revenue generated online. During the 2014-2015 Season we achieved record-setting online sales.
  • Digital marketing strategies led to several TSO live events trending on Twitter, including a unique partnership with the MIT Media Lab.
  • Successfully implemented a content strategy and annual plans that combined high impact content over short periods of time, and high value long tail content.
  • Consistently set new benchmarks with innovative content creation, distribution, and engagement strategies that exceeded expectations.
  • Built in-house creative media production capabilities (writing, video, audio and photography) including production of promotional, documentary, and editorial content that regularly led to earned media for the TSO.
  • Led development and implementation of a mobile strategy including vision, navigation design, user experience design, and content management plan.
  • Developed and implemented email marketing strategy to support sales efforts that became the most effective source of direct marketing.
  • Collaborated with departments on all new media communications initiatives, including public education programs, fundraising, and customer service, leading to growth in sales, donations, and engagement rates.

  • Lead the design, development and planning for several immersive, interactive video productions.
